Review: Point of Danger

Point of Danger Point of Danger by Irene Hannon
My rating: 💛💛💛

Rating 3.5

Irene Hannon is always a suspense author I enjoy, and again I was not disappointed. I enjoyed the various different suspects with the different side plots who could all target Eve. I did not really expect the villain, though there was a point where I questioned all the information this person had. The action and danger made for a fast paced story.

I loved Eve and her sisters and am looking forward that this series will be about the sisters.

The one thing I did not really enjoy was the romance.

I appreciated that Eve did not stand back on her opinions. So many Christians lately stand back on important issues, abortion, sex education in school etc, that it was refreshing to get to know a character who stood up for what she believed in.

*I listened to this on Scribd and enjoyed the narrator delivering the story.*

About the book:

Hate mail was one thing. This was quite another.

Radio talk show host Eve Reilly is used to backlash from her pot-stirring on-air commentary and interviews, but now it seems a disgruntled listener is resorting to more than angry words to express their displeasure. When a suspicious package arrives on her doorstep, Eve turns to law enforcement for help.

Police detective Brent Lange can't find any evidence to link the string of unsettling incidents that follows, but he's convinced they're connected. As the harassment grows more menacing, it becomes clear someone wants Eve's voice silenced - permanently.

But unless he can track down her foe, fast, the gutsy woman who is willing to take risks for what she believes - and who is swiftly winning his heart - may not survive.
