Review: Ismeni

Ismeni Ismeni by Tosca Lee
My rating: 💛💛💛

This was a short novella to introduce Ismeni, who plays a short but important role (apparently - I still need to read it) in The Legend of Sheba.

I enjoyed this brief peek into Ismeni's heart and get to know the circumstances who made her into the grown women.

About the book:

A mysterious beauty, a destiny set in the stars. Born under an inauspicious sign, young Ismeni is feared by her own people. The single thing she prays for: to live an invisible life. But that is not to be for the young woman who has captured the attention of the king's youngest son. A story of love, passion, and twists of fate through the eyes of the woman who will one day give birth to the legendary Queen of Sheba.

About the author:

"Superior storytelling."

"One of the most gifted novelists writing today."
-Steven James, bestselling author
