This dual-time story was filled with loss, forgiveness, redemption and second chances. Both time lines was equally interesting and filled with lots of great characters who went through a lot of character growth.
I found myself enjoying both time lines for different reasons - Everleigh's for learning how to overcome losses and realise that you can have future happiness while still remembering the past and Beck's because of the mistakes she made and the road to healing and redemption.
I have one thing in common with Beck - I have never watched Gilmore Girls (I know! Maybe something I need to fix in the near future).
I listened to the audiobook on Scribd and found the narrator entertaining and which added to my enjoyment of this story.
