Review: The Kissing Tree: Four Novellas Rooted in Timeless Love

The Kissing Tree: Four Novellas Rooted in Timeless Love The Kissing Tree: Four Novellas Rooted in Timeless Love by Karen Witemeyer
My rating: 💛💛💛💛

Broken Limbs, Mended Fences by Regina Jennings

Adam and Bella was the cutest couple and my favourite in this novella. I loved how at the end they each tried to help the other one get what they wanted, even if it meant a loss for themselves.

The Kissing Tree Inn by Karen Witemeyer

This was such a fun novella and a cute story which showed how two opposites can bring out the best in each other.

From Roots to Sky' by Amanda Dykes

Strangers becoming acquaintances through the writing of letters and finally a in person meet which resulted in a sweet novella.

Heartwood by Nicole Deese

This was a beautiful story of second chances.

All of these novella's highlighted the strong points of the writers and brought together a collection of sweet novellas.

Each of the authors' unique voices is on display in stories where courting couples leave a permanent mark of their love by carving their initials into the same oak's bark.

In Regina Jennings' 'Broken Limbs, Mended Fences', a small-town teacher has her credentials questioned by a traveling salesman.

'From Roots to Sky' by Amanda Dykes follows a young WWII naval airman who heads to Texas to meet the sister of a lost compatriot.

'Heartwood' by Nicole Deese is a modern-day romance about a groundskeeper of a historic inn who's reunited with someone from her past while she fights to save a town landmark.
