Review: The Catch

The Catch The Catch by Lisa Harris
My rating: 💛💛💛💛

Fans of Lisa Harris and Suspense will not be disappointed with this final book in the series.

This series needs to be read in order, since this last book concludes a mystery and romance thread which starts in book one, and spoilers will be evident.

The action was never ending, fast paced and I was on my edge of my seat for most of this story.
The mystery about Ava which started and ended in book three, was also interesting and a few plot twists not expected. I enjoyed how the author caught the reader up through changing to Ava's POV.

“I was also reminded that God is like our rope and harness. He didn’t give us a spirit of fear. He calls us to trust him. And I’m not just talking about when climbing.”

I loved that this series focused only on Maddison and Jonas from book one through to book three. Sometimes you meet characters who needs more than one book and Maddison and Jonas' story would have felt rushed if it was settled with only one book. Though, I did love Tucker which we met in book three and would have loved a story for him.

*I received a complimentary copy from the publisher. All opinions expressed are my own.*

About the book:

After a harrowing attempt on a judge's life at the courthouse, Deputy US Marshals Madison James and Jonas Quinn are tasked with finding a missing woman and an endangered child in connection to the murder of the judge's wife. What seems like a fairly straightforward case becomes hopelessly tangled when the marshals discover that the woman they are searching for is in witness protection and the Amber Alert put out for the missing child has put two lives in danger.

Madison and Jonas are forced into a race to find the woman and the child before the men who want her dead discover her location. And in a final showdown that could cost her everything, Madison will come face-to-face with the person who murdered her husband.

USA Today bestselling author Lisa Harris concludes her thrilling US Marshals series with this breathless tale of secrets kept, lies exposed, and ultimately, justice prevailing.
