I don’t know why I kept delaying starting this series, because Vendetta was a book which grabs your attention from the first sentence right till the last word, happily giving up sleep to see what will happen.
I loved meeting and getting to know Nikki and glad this series is one which will continue with her as the lead, since I was left with a lot of open questions and an unresolved romance.
The suspense plot was riveting and kept me guessing right till the end. I did not expect the culprit and especially how they related to Nikki. A lot of the action scenes felt plausible, and it caused a few nail-biting and holding your breath moments.

About the book:
No one needs to push Nikki Boyd to excel on the Tennessee Missing Persons Task Force. The case of her own missing sister, still unsolved after ten years, is the driving force in her work. When a Polaroid photo of a missing girl shows up at a crime scene, Nikki quickly recognizes similarities to the past. The closer she gets to the abductor, the more she feels this case has become personal, and she is not the hunter . . . but the hunted.
