This story was mainly about moving on with life after experience significant loss.
The author portrayed all the various consequences and emotions through the different characters within this story.
I loved all the funny scenes with the puppy, it also helped to break the seriousness of the topic.
The two little girls were my favourite and just showed again that children experience things different than adults and at the end only want to feel and know that they are loved.
