Review: Flights of Fancy

Flights of Fancy Flights of Fancy by Jen Turano
My rating: 💛💛💛💛

If you enjoy historical romance with a lot of humour and a dash of mystery, action and suspense, you should give Flights of Fancy a try, especially if you want an escape from reality for a few hours.

Following Izzy where she ran away from her society life to escape an unwanted marriage, to finding herself on a farm instead of a manor, in need of rescue by Ian more than once, and having to the first time in her life do washing, boiling water and other housekeeping things, allowed for a few lol moments.

Add to the above adorable children, especially the three-year-old Daisy, and interesting pets named Buttercup (cow) and Edgar (chicken) I found myself in a few adorable moments.

What I further enjoyed about this story is the mystery/action/suspense part which had me speed up my reading to see what will happen.

Amidst all the funny moments, crazy animals and adorable children, there was also great character growth for both Izzy and Ian.
